Project Silverstream

So this is mainly about recreating the PS1 game "Wipeout," in this instance to look like the Silverstream track in the original, with Northern Lights and mountains in the distance of a sunset and stars. I'd also like to use different vehicles and build courses within a variety of environmental maps. The project also explores projectile physics and particles, explosions as well as the idea of having multiple levels/layers/versions race tracks in the same environment. More to come!

To create a WipEout game, one must have a solid grasp of anti-gravity racing physics. Seeing as I do NOT have time for that, the marketplace gifted me with this incredible demo asset. Out of the box, just amazing!

Some assorted slow-moving cinematics, though the lighting is admittedly a bit harsh and metallic, which is on me to figure out and correct.

Yes, it's Eagle5 from Spaceballs. Why? Because kiss my ass, that's why. Give me a few more minutes and I'll throw the Back to the Future DeLorean alongside it. Because ***k you, that's why.

Need more fighter jets and opponents. But they need to look sweet.

Cleveland Browns! I see those colors and think of memories watching games with dearly-departed family and loyalty through thick and thin (and the requisite amount of Stockholm Syndrome).

Ohio State Buckeyes! My family grew up around the campus, I had history into adulthood and the Medical Center literally saved my father's life. Hard not to appreciate a school after all that.

Here we are again with a close up, as I'm just in love with UE's LODs.

Making things look a bit prettier with try to match the general color or atmosphere of sunset/dusk, while in the far north (Greenland, in this case).

It's obvious there's some Northern Lights going on, so why the hell wouldn't we dive in head-first to any kind of effect like this we can find? Aurora Borealis is sweet; always has been, always will be!
